In this tutorial we are going to see how to install the crypto account manager called metamask, followed by how to connect to the Binance Smart Chain network and, finally, how to load the WOOP (woonkly power) and TIERRA ( tierra libre token, free land token).
What is metamask and how to install it easily
MetaMask is a gateway to blockchain applications and allows you to have a cryptocurrency wallet in your browser, among other utilities. If you already know this dApp then you can go directly to download it on its official page.
MetaMask is an extension to access decentralized applications (dApps) enabled for various blockchain platforms from your browser.
Decentralized applications (dApps) are digital applications or programs that exist and run on a blockchain or peer-to-peer (P2P) network of computers rather than on a single computer. DApps are out of the reach and control of “authorities”. These dApps are built on various platforms such as Ethereum, binance smart chain, and more… and are developed for a wide variety of purposes, including gaming, finance, and social media.
MetaMask also allows the user to create and manage their own identities (via private keys, local client wallet, and hardware wallets like Ledger), so when a dApp wants to make a transaction and write to the blockchain, the user gets a secure interface to review the transaction, before approving or rejecting it.
Remember to keep your secret recovery phrase and metamask access password in a protected place, on paper, written by hand, the old-fashioned way, never inside the computer. This is very important, because if you lose those keywords you will lose all your funds.
Installation of MetaMask
- Click the “Create a wallet” button
2. Create a password of at least 8 characters.
3. Click “Create” and write your secret backup phrase below in a safe place. Do not show it to anyone, it is exclusive to you, it is the key to your digital wallets.
4. Select each word of the secret phrase, to make sure it is correct, and then click “Confirm”
Congratulations! You have now created your MetaMask account!

Now connect your MetaMask with the binance smart chain
1. Let’s open the tab — top left — of Networks. And we are going to add the Binance Smart Chain network, also called BNBChain.
2. Add a new network: network name (Binance Smart Chain Mainnet), url rpc (https://bsc-dataseed1.ninicoin.io/), chain identity (56), token (BNB), block explorer url (https://bscscan.com)
3. Once the new Binance Smart Chain blockchain network is installed, we can now load the TIERRA and WOOP contracts
Loading minted BEP20 token contracts on the Binance Smart Chain
First in the metamask click on my accounts and click Create account.
Once the account is created — always remember to put your private keys of each account on paper and in a safe place — the BNB token is opened as default and you have to add the tokens you want to have in your wallet.
We have some BNB (you always need to have some of this token as the blockchain works with it, and it is used to pay transaction fees). We also have WOOP, TIERRA and KUBIC.
Click on Import tokens to add them to your account.
Now when the Import Tokens window opens, you must add the address of the token contract…

TIERRA contract: 0x8247d141FC9a1Cb6cFec5e8C20b2AC24B84B0A99
When adding the contracts, the symbol and the decimals of the token are added automatically.
